Best Cruelty-Free Spa Products:Aveda
Best Cruelty-Free Makeup Brushes:Eco-Tools
Best Cruelty-Free Cosmetics:e.l.f. Cosmetics
Best Cruelty-Free Sunscreen:Ocean Potion
Best Cruelty-Free Men’s Personal-Care Products:Jack Black LLC
“Best Cruelty-Free Cosmetics: e.l.f. Cosmetics
When we heard that Kmart and Target were selling cruelty-free cosmetics for a buck each, we couldn’t believe it. But it’s not a fairytale—e.l.f. Cosmetics really does exist! Operating on the principle that “[e]very woman should have the opportunity to participate in innovation without sacrificing her budget,” e.l.f. has loads of must-have mascaras, lip glosses, blushes, bronzers, brushes, and much more. We can’t help but be extra-partial to e.l.f.’s “PETA” tweezers. Emblazoned with the slogan “Fur Free,” these tweezers come in a case that sports PETA’s cruelty-free bunny logo and reads, “e.l.f. Professional Supports PETA in the Fur-Free Campaign: http://www.peta.org.” Pretty cool, huh? What’s even cooler is the fact that 50 percent of the proceeds earned from sales of these tweezers goes right back to PETA!”
